Edie Avioli, Artistic Director of Edie’s Fairytale Theatre (2014-present) is an accomplished and award- winning playwright, actress, director and teacher. She was the Performing Arts Director at Andrews Academy Summer Camp in St. Louis (2014-2019) and Producing Director of Black Cat Theatre/OFF The CUFF and its children’s program, Piwacket Theatre for Children (1989-2014). Edie is Co-Writer of Edie’s Fairytales (20 plays highlighting character education). Edie’s Children’s Theatre has toured NYC, NJ, SC, MO, IL, CO the past 30 years reaching over 700,000 children. Edie and her husband Scott have a library of fairytales, mysteries and histories where kids are the stars. BFA, Boston University. Post Graduate, Drama Studio, London.
Scott Sears, Executive Director of Edie’s Fairytale Theatre (EFT) Scott is an accomplished actor, director and playwright currently working with his partner Edie to create a non-profit educational organization which will focus on using EFT programs in school to enrich curriculum and improve public speaking, social awareness, and literacy skills. Scott is the former Artistic Director of Black Cat Theatre, Producing Director of Piwacket Theatre for Children and Executive Director of Off the Cuff Productions and Bohicket Repertory, Co-author of Edie’s Fairytale Theatre 20 Musicals and Edie’s Studio of 50 plays for children. Scott has a BFA from Boston University, Post graduate degree Drama Studio London, and a Masters in Arts Management and Leadership from Webster University.
Christopher Sears is a New York City based musician & actor recently appeared Off- Broadway in Only Yesterday at 59 east 59th, a workshop production of Annie Salem an American Tale at Powerhouse theatre-Vassar College, Gently Down the Stream at The Public with Harvey Fierstein; The Harvest at LCT3 Stupid Fu**ing Bird at The Pearl; London Wall at The Mint Theatre. Sister Sienna Sears, Singer, Musician with BFA in performing arts has cabaret act at Duplex, a children's book illustrator, and sings with Christopher's Band, Sophia Sears teaches preschool, creates art design along with her wonderful stage managing and brother Charlie Sears, a Denver University Graduate in computer engineering wires it all up.
